Insert new slide

When we select " INSERT - NEW SLIDE we no longer go to the SLIDE LAYOUT
WINDOW to choose the layout. The check box got checked to not show this
window again. Now the results are that the new slide will be which ever the
last slide that was worked on the the presentation. Can you please tell me
how to undo this selection and go back to the SLIDE LAYOUT WINDOW with out
going to FORMAT - SLIDE LAYOUT so we can select which format we want to use
by going to INSERT - NEW SLIDE again. Thank you

Look on the Tools/Options/View tab.

Could have given you more specific info, but you didn't mention which
version of PPT you're using.

Try looking on the Tools => Options => View and check the Slide Layout task
pane when ....

This is for PowerPoint 2002, but I believe it has always been in the tools
options menus.
