Insert Object Media Clip Crashes PC

I have PPt 97 and Windows 2000. When I go to Insert Object, Media Clip, my
PC reboots. Just before it does, I see that RealPlayer appears in the slide.
Anyone else seen this happen?

Try inserting your media clip using Insert/Movies and Sounds/Movie (or
sound) From File instead of Insert/Object.
