Insert pictures into same document sequentially

I have 1 doc that I would like to add 4 pictures to. Then using the same doc
add 4 more pictures again. ie 400 pics on 100 pages all added sequentially.

As you are going to have to identify the graphics and their order anyway,
mail merge is probably the simplest way forwards
