insert pictures red X

Many copied or dowloaded docs have red X where pictures should
appear. Any way to fix this problem please

Hi Greg,

You need to give us your OS and Office/Word version numbers. The answer
completely depends on that information.

If you're in Word 2001, it's probably a memory issue. Post back if that's
the case and we'll tell you what to do.

If you're in Word X, it's probably a conflict with third party software.
Again, post back for the details if that's the case.

I've seen this appear when images are CMYK color mode...

using photoshop or another image manipulation program to convert to
RGB usually fixes the Red X issue.
