Insert Program Into PPT2007

Dave

Hello - I am trying to see if it is possible to run a program inside the PPT
window. I have it working now that if I click an image, it runs the program
(outside of PPT).

What I would like to do is have a slide with an image at the top of the
slide. In the middle of the slide, I would like to have the .exe file running
the program. It is a DOS-based program. (I don't know if that matters or
not).

I'd like to have a graphic above the program that explains what it is while
I am displaying the actual program below in a slide in PPT at Full Screen.

Is this possible? I'm not hung up on PPT, so if it won't work in PPT, I'd
take any suggestions.

I'm trying to remove the File, Edit, View, etc. - I just want to show the
graphic and the functioning program together on one screen with no borders,
extra text, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You can use an 'action setting' to Run a Program.

So you click an object - that triggers the action, and it runs the program.

Or you could simple grab a bunch of screen grabs, put them into powerpoint
as static pictures, and then do your presentation / demo

cheers

Taj:

Thanks for your reply. I've done the action setting and it opens the program
in a new window. I actually need to show a live demo of the program, so
screen shots won't work.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!
