Insert Symbol

Just a quick question.

Why is there no insert symbol in Excel.

Excel 2002 has the Insert>Symbol feature.

Bah. I'll upgrade when flashing cell format and animated GIF's are supported. And I want
425 columns, no more, no less <bg>.

I want 365 columns with an option for 366 in leap year plus one more for
cross-row totals plus one more for titles plus.......425 sounds about right<g>

As far as the animation goes(I can see your tongue poking out Harald)...Clippy
and friends met a horrible death years ago.

I just invoke Character Map (CharMap.exe, usually under Start> Programs>
Accessories> System Tools> Character Map) and use it to copy a symbol, and
then paste it into Excel.

Be sure to set the Font that sme between the two programs so WYSIWYG!
