Insert task into status reports

When PM sends a status report & inserts tasks from
timsheet by default he views only his tasks.
Is there a possibility of the PM viewing all the tasks on
the project plan & then inserting the task he chooses to
report on?
Any ideas?

When your PMs are creating a Status Report, and want to insert a task into
the Status Report, they can only see the respective tasks to which they are
assigned. Sorry.

How will this help the PM to create status reports for
their team activities? Is there any possibility of viewing
all the tasks of the team members? Any ideas?

If the project manager needs information about each of the tasks that
his/her team members are working on, an alternative is for each team member
to insert their tasks into their own Status Reports. When these Status
Reports are then submitted to the project manager, he/she will be able to
see a combined Status Report which will show everyone's tasks. Hope this
idea helps.
