Using Visio 2002, SP-2, I insert a CAD drawing as a Background. I then add
Visio objects on top of the drawing on a Foreground page. This works fine
initially, but when I open the drawing later (i.e. the next day), the
background CAD drawing is gone. The Foreground page shows all of the objects
I've added, but obviously there is no background drawing. When I go to the
Background page, there is no drawing visible. But I can select some type of
'invisible' object. I right click to view the object properties, but
'Object' is greyed out.
Our customer creates the CAD drawings, I'm not certain what version CAD they
are using.
