Inserted graphic deformed in Excel?

Graphics like logotypes are deformed when inserted into Excel. How do I
prevent this? Logotypes are elongated about 10% after insertion. Applies to
PNG, EPS, JPG, TIF but not fonts.
Excel 2000 and 20003.
