Inserted pictures in a Word document

I insert several .bmp into a Word document. It makes the
document 5 pages or more. Anyway, when I scroll down the
document the inserted pictures dissapear and then finally
appear. And they can be distorted. I have tried this on
10 different machines and many differnet files, both old
and new. I am using Word 2002 sp-2.

This sounds like a screen driver issue. Try updating the screen driver.

Are you talking about the display driver? I have never
heard of a "screen driver", can you please elaborate.
