Inserted pictures not seen

Using Publisher 2003 - Open up a blank page and try to insert picture from
file or clip art. Empty picture box appears which can be resized, moved etc,
but no graphic can be seen within box. Already reinstalled software. Insert
functionality OK in other MS office programs IE word.

Turn down hardware acceleration on your video card. If you don't know how
to do that, search this group for "hardware acceleration" and you might just
find it.

If that works, then you need a new video driver. If you don't know how to
update your video driver, try searching this group for "video driver".

If a new driver doesn't do it, leave hardware acceleration turned down until
your video card manufacturer issues a new driver that sorts the issue.
