Inserted sound and videos (except DivX files) don´t work in my ppt presentations

Hi,
some months ago I buy a VAIO VGN-FS680 lap. Later a virus force me to
reformat the lap and I installed Windows XP Pro and MS Office Pro XP.
My problem is that since then my powerpoint presentations don´t recognize
inserted (not embedded) sound files and inserted video files except DivX
files. I can see all videos with the Windows Media Player. I Follow all
instructions of the tutorial

but: NOTHING!


Can anybody give me an advise how to fix this?

Videos can only playback on a computer that has the same codec installed
that they were created with. My guess is that you are missing a needed
codec. Check these for some additional information:
