Inserting a picture but the only a box appears and no picture

Every time I try to insert a picture into the body of email I just get the
outline of a box and no picture. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe something to do with the way that Outlook blocks pictures from being
downloaded. Scour through Tools/Options and see what you can find.

This is more of an Outlook question. Maybe try posting your question in one
of the Outlook newsgroups.

Thanks Steve, I'll pull up "tools" and see what I can fine. I'm new to this and there are so many options on tools that I just don't understand. I'm 67 and my brain is not quite what it used to be - I'm working on it. I love the computer now. it's opened up a whole new world to me. Thanks for your advice. Barb
