inserting a single address from entourage

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel How do you insert a single address from entourage into a word document.
(not a mail merge issue)
When I select a name, it only puts the name and Unite States of AMerica in the address part. It is very frustrating to write letters and have to type in the address each time. This use to be a snap using Word and Outlook on a PC.. Any thoughts?

Well, someone might have a better idea why you aren't getting the results
you expect if you gave some description of how you're going about it. The
first thing that comes to mind is the Tools> Address Book method which works
fine here. However, you could be attempting to do a Label or an Envelope or
something entirely different.

Make certain that your software is fully updated using Help> Check for
Updates. If that isn't the solution please provide more detail about what
"it" is that puts in the name, etc.

I use the Tools> Address Book when inserting, and all that gets inserted is the persons name and United States of America.

However, I've noticed that any persons address when clicking on it within Entourage, doesn't show the details of their info. I have to click further in (like the "work" tab or "Home" tab) to see the actual details of their address. I wonder if THIS is the issue.

IS there as setting to have all their contact info show on their "card view"?

AFAIK there is no special setting, but I don't use it that much... The
Contacts I have in the Address Book just appear "as advertised". What you
describe does sound like something may not be quite right though.

Make sure you have Office fully updated & that disk permissions have been
repaired. Restart your Mac & if the problem continues I'd suggest you ask
about it in the Entourage group ‹ Word doesn't do any more than cal the
Address Book dialog & insert what Entourage provides.

Just in case:

Are the addresses you are trying to insert the default addresses for the
contacts? (A contact can have, say, a Home address, no Business address,
and yet the Business address can still be the default address - and
that's the one that's selected by default in the drop-down at the bottom
left of the dialog box).
