Inserting a text box onto the master slide using the keyboard?

Can anyone help me with how I can insert an additional text box onto the
Master Slide using keyboard shortcuts please? I have tried Alt + V, X and
then Ctrl + Enter, but I don't get anything - just an incorrect beep from my
computer!

Thanks.

Hi

The answer to the question is (sort of) CTRL C then CTRL V HOWEVER it wont
do what I think you need as you wont be able to use the second box on your
slides.

If you just just want two text boxes, forget the master and use FORMAT

Thanks John - it sort of helps. What I am trying to do is add the words
'Stricly Confidential' at the top of each slide. I suppose what I could do
is create the text box in the normal view of a slide, then do what you have
suggested below, and paste it into the Master Slide. Please let me know if
you have any other suggestions. Thanks again,
Deb.

Just use the TextBox tool from the Drawing menu to draw a text box
somewhere on the master slide. Add the words Strictly Confidential to the
text box, and those words will appear on every slide (as long as they
aren't covered up by another shape on the slide.
