Inserting a video into a powerpoint presentation

I have a 20 minute video that I need to show inside of a PowerPoint. It is
currently on a DVD. Does anyone know how to save the DVD to my hard drive?
Do I need to burn the DVD to my harddrive? Is there any other way to do this?

Actually, the message got crossposted to the PowerPoint group and one of
the Word groups so it did get asked in the PowerPoint group. I'm
guessing the Word posting was an accident.
