Goomba was telling us:
Goomba nous racontait que :
Don't know about Gulim Goomba (Had to type that!), but I have worked with
fancy fonts in French documents. Very often these fonts were designed by
English speaking people who do not know about é, è, ç, etc. (Or they do, but
take the easy way out and pretend that they don't, or, they figure that not
many people will need those accented characters, or, there may be a very
technical reasons I am not aware of). So they do not include the letters as
part of the font. Sometimes, you just get a rectangle.
By the way, this is a group about VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). There
is a group about printing and fonts, you may have more luck there with font
related questions (microsoft.public.word.printingfonts).
