Inserting an object not to be printed

In my company we have recently purchased a lot of preprinted pages
with corporative headers and footers. In our word 2007 templates we
have these headers. We want to maintain them beacuse they are usefull
when generating PDF to be send by email.

Is it possible to have some lines and text that won't be printed, but
exported to PDF.

I suppouse that the solutions goes through the use of VBA, but before
starting with VBA in word (i'm experienced in programming access with
VBA) i want to explore other possible solutions.
