Inserting animated icons

I started suing animated icons either in the body of the e-mail message or in the signature. An example would be Smiley Central. After I insert them into the e-amil, they don't animate. Is there a setting I am missing on outllok that does not recognize animated clips?

They don't animate during composing. Do they animate when you receive them?
