Inserting attachments in Outlook 2003

Hello

I have a problem with my Outlook 2003, when ever i try to insert a file into
and email it inserts the file into where the text should go, can anyone
please help me because i tried looking for the settings but could not find
them.

Change your message format from Rich Text to Plain Text or HTML.

Are you using Rich Text as your default format? It would put the attachment
into the body of the email. If you wish the attachment to be on a separate
line, use plain text or HTML.
