Inserting Autocad Drawing in Pub2007

When I insert an Autocad picture it either gives me a blank box ( create from
file ) or a hatched version of the actual picture ( create new ). Any ideas
why this happens. Plus if I want to insert it as a jpg or png how do I get a
see through background compared to a white one? help.

Only .png or .gif supports transparency. You can insert a .jpg into a Publisher
document and use the transparency tool from the picture toolbar on the white
are.
Does the AutoCAD image print okay? Is your video card driver current?

AutoCAD has limited support in Office, which supports AutoCAD versions up
through R12.

Any good editing program can convert .dwf - .dwg images.
