Inserting AutoCAD dwg into Word doc

W

I have inserted about 10 dwg's into a Word doc as AutoCAD Objects (or Paste
Special, same result). The problem now is that the word doc is almost 24,000
megs.

The drawing are not linked to the original. If I double click on the drawing
in Word it will open the drawing in Autocad to be able to modify the drawing
assoiated with the Word doc. It is a pretty cool feature.

Is there a way to remove this functionality and just have the snapshot of
the drawing instead of one that can be modified?

PDF's and PrintScreen's lose resolution leaving the small text illegible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Select the AutoCAD object in Word, and press Ctrl+Shift+F9 to convert it
into a picture.
