Inserting clipart in Publisher 2002

I am having a problem inserting clipart into publications
using Publisher 2002. When I click on the clipart tool
and draw the box on the publication for the clipart, the
box disappears and nothing happens. When I click on
insert on the menu bar and go to insert clipart, I get an
Office Collections dialog box appear with the following
folders appearing:
My Collections
Favourites
Unclassified Clips
Windows
Office Collections
Web Collections

But there still does not seem to be any actual clips
listed to insert.

Can anyone please help.

The ClipArt Gallery in Publisher 2002 is hosed/broken/disaster/does not
function properly.

You will find the old version of the ClipArt gallery available at the MS
Download website which works well with Pub2002.

Publisher 2002 does not have the Picture Frame feature. Use the autoshape instead.
Once you draw your autoshape, right-click it, format autoshape, expand the color,
fill effects, picture.
