Inserting Data set into chart

I was wondering if there is anyway in Excel XP to add the data set used to
create a pie chart into the chart window.

Not quite, but you can come close. Check the 'data table' capability
of an XL chart or, since a data table is very limited in its
flexibility, see Custom Chart Table
