Inserting dynamic year field into pdf doc

Hi All

I know this might not be the accepted method, but I create manuals in MS
Word and then convert these to PDF using Adobe Acrobat 6 (FULL).

My problem is that as each year passes I have to open up each manual (there
are about 19 or so), change the year to the current one (ie 2005), save the
word doc, convert it to PDF and re-upload it to my web site.

What would be great is if the displayed year in the PDF was dynamic so that
it automatically displayed the current year. Is this possible?

Would I do this in Word (I have Office 2003) or Acrobat?

Any help you can give me on this would be very much appreciated.

Regards

Robbie

The conversion to PDF makes the document somewhat "static" because PDF does
not have any feature which would allow variables (dynamic values) in PDF
documents. This problem is by design in the PDf format.
