inserting field into excel

I have an Access Database that has several fields. I want to insert the data
from a few of those fields into excel. Can this be done?

Kinda like a mailmerge in word but in excel.

Open the table in datasheet view and highlight the field, copy and paste in
Excel. The field name will be in row 1.
