Inserting files in Outlook

I've created an invoice in Excel. I'd like to file invoice copies in my
Outlook Contacts with the appropriate contact. Is this possible?
To date I've tried: import/export, copy/paste, drag, send to -- with no
success.

double click on the contact, the big white area under the picture where you
can type stuff, you can insert files there, that's outlook 2003, not sure if
older versions do that...
