We are developing a procedures manual manual which I have set up in WORD 2000
to generate a table of contents(TOC). There are 4 levels of headings and
every section starts on a new page (using section breaks). There is one
section that is a collection of standard forms that are by various
departments. The intent was to have a title page for each form followed by
the form. Every time I try to insert a form in the appropriate section of
the manual the form gets corrupted in that the style of one or more lines on
the form gets automatically changed to one of the heading styles. Then when
you regenerate the TOC it is corrupted by having entries for thoses lines of
text and you have to manually edit the TOC which is a pain. Is there a way to
insert a form into a manual without it appearing in the TOC and getting
corrupted? I tried locking the forms and that did not work
