inserting graphics into form fields

hi, im trying to insert a jpeg signature into a document with form fields
that are locked to keep the integrity of the document.. from what ive
research word only allows text to be inserted into a form field.. anyway ive
tried frames but they dont appear to show the whole document in print
preview... i wud be eternally gratefull to any way around this..

Toolboxx:

Why can't you unlock the document, insert the signature like any other
inline graphic, then relock the document?

I'm confused about the relationship between the signature graphic and
fields. Why do you need a graphic in a field?
