Inserting items/images

Greetings:

I often drag text documents into journal and contacts. Regrettably, when
returning to journal and contacts I find the icon of the inserted images and
text, not the opened items. Is there a way to have the images and/or text to
appear rather than have to launch the icon? I usually insert jpg, adobe, and
MS word docs

Well, for MS word documents, I would copy the images and text from the
document and then paste it into your journal and contacts.
