Inserting Multiple Pictures into Powerpoint at one time

I have hundreds of pictures that I want insert into
Powerpoint to make one slideshow. Do have to insert one
picture at time? Or can I insert multiple pictures at one
time as slides? thanks for any help.

Robert,

You don't mention what version of powerpoint you are using. Powerpoint
XP/2002 has this feature built in. Insert>Picture>New Photo Album.

Another option is to use the excellent Image Importer Wizard Add-in
