Inserting Multiple Rows and Formula Question

Hi, I have two quick questions.

How do you insert multiple rows or columns. I can do one at time, but
I haven't figured out how to do, say, 50 at a time.

If you have a long formula and you want to change a number or letter
in that formula that repeats many times, is there a way to change all
of the repetitions at once. I can only do them one at a time.

Select n rows and Insert Rows. Use the fill handle to enter the formula in
more than one cell. Press F4 to toggle between Relative, Mixed, and Absolute
references for the cells (column letter and row number references),

Select for instance rows 1:50 (type 1: 50 in the name box above the row
headers and press enter),
press ctrl + shift +
(hold down ctrl and shift and press the =+ key)

for columns

type for instance A:AX in the name box, then enter and then ctrl + shift +

Select the cell with the formula.

Edit>Replace

What: your letter or number
With: a different letter or number

Replace All.

Gord, your post seems to offer the OP a one-at-a-time solution, which he
said he could do. I think he was seeking a method to"...change all the
repetitions at once."
