inserting music into PPT 2002

I cannot get PPT 2002 to accept a song that was saved in my
library by Windows Media Player as a wma. file.... PPT
won't recognize it because it is looking for a different
type of file... Can you help me change the file type to one
that PPT will accept or any other means by which to make
this happen. I am up against a wall with this one! I have
done PPT presentations for years but without music... I am
baffled! Thanks for your help in advance!! Ben

What version of Windows Media Player do you have installed on the system?

If you're up against the clock, you can do a google search and look for "WMA
to MP3" and you'll find tools available for converting WMA's.

Also, does the same problem occur with all WMA sounds?

Finally, try renaming the *.WMA file to *.ASF and let us know if that helps?
