Inserting part of a Spreadsheet into the Current Spreadsheet

I have a spreadsheet that has various sized columns. I would like to insert
or add to this spreadheet at the bottom or top of it, a group of 2 rows and 9
columns with the columns being of equal widths. Since my original
spreadsheet has columns of various widths, is it possible to attach or append
in any way with the equally columned width section?

The answer is no. you can insert it to the right of your existing data,
though, where column widths will not be affected.

Maybe something like this would help.

Save a second worksheet in a separate file, then close Excel.

Then, open the first file and use
Insert > Object > Create from file > Browse
and select the separate file.

(I have Excel 2003.)
