I download an online-newspaper inot a Word document. I
select an article which then comes up in an "article box."
I highlight the data and copy it to the clipboard. I
then paste each article separately into a Word document
with only one column; the text is first, and the pictures
and captions are behind the text.
I make changes to the text and captions.
I then copy the text for each article into a Word
template that is formatted with headers and footers, and
two columns. I highlight all the text and change it to be
justified.
I then copy and paste individually the pictures and
captions for an article into the text for that article.
Sometimes the picture (paste special and bitmap) and the
insert caption will cause either the picture and caption
to jump to another place or will cause this effect on
another picture and caption to jump; they may be on the
same page or column, or in a prior column or page to
jump. These displacements can jump forward or backwards
in relation to where they were inserted. If the
insertion point is within an inch of the top or bottom of
the page, the picture or caption will jump into the top
left cornor of the page; it must then be deleted and re-
inserted.
