INSERTING PICTURES INTO AUTOSHAPES

GREETING EVERYONE

MY PROBLEM IS IN PUBLISHER 2003 & 2007 VERSIONS USING AUTOSHAPE. THE PICTURE
AND TEXT BOX TAB IN THE FORMAT AUTOSHAPE MENU DOESN'T LIGHT UP WHICH PREVENTS
ME FROM USING THESE TASKS.
#1 WHY IS THIS?
#2 IF POSSIBLE, HOW DO I GET THESE TWO FUNCTION TABS TO WORK? ONLY
COLOR/LINES, SIZE, LAYOUT AND WEB TABS WORKS.

Auto shapes are not text boxes. Right-click the Auto shape, click add text. Now
if you go to the format menu the text tab will be active. If you want a picture
in your auto shape, select the shape, fill, fill effects, picture tab.
