Inserting PowerPoint slide in Word, landscaped

L

Lisa H.

I am using PowerPoint 2000 and Word 2000. I need to
insert several large PowerPoint slides into a Word
document so as to get the best legibility. The slides are
wide, so I want to try inserting them landscaped. How can
I do this? When I rotate and copy them in PowerPoint,
then copy and Paste Special in Word, I don't get the full
width of the slide.

Thanks!

Lisa,

Why not use landscape pages in Word. Insert a section
break next page. Using the File>Page Setup>Paper Size
tab, format as landscape and apply to this section only.

I should have mentioned that, unfortunately, introducing
section breaks into the template I'm using could cause
problems.

Hi Lisa,

How are you rotating the PPT Slides in Powerpoint
before using the Clipboard? When you paste
into Word if you use Edit=>Paste Special, what
choice of paste format are you using?

You may want to try using File=>Save As in Powerpoint and save
the slides as graphics, then use Insert=>Picture=>From File
in Word.

Please pay attention that inserting slides into Word will allways produce
the slide zoomed to 50%.
Its posible to blow up the slide, its not poosible to change the default
size.
If you from Word Insert/Object - PowerPointPresentation - From File, you may
double-click for edition or running the entire ppt.

Hi Pre,

There is more than one method to place a
Powerpoint slide in Word. Your statement
that the slides will always be inserted in
Word at 50% of their size in Powerpoint
is incorrect.
