Inserting Sound File trimmed by Flie Editor

J

JHoward

Hello,

I have a .wma file that I can insert into a 2003 PowerPoint presentation
with no problem. I've trimmed the file's start and end times using Windows
Media File Editor (and created a new "trimmed" .wma file). However, when I
insert the new file into the PP presentation it will not play. That is, there
is no sound, no error message, nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

J Howard,

Put the file in this folder

c:\test\mytrimmedsound.wma

Then try to
insert menu > sounds > from file

browse to the file
and insert it

if that works, then the folder you used to have to sound file is is too
DEEP... ie.
c:\documents and settings\usernames\etc etc etc

cheers
