Inserting Tif Files

I get an error when trying to insert a tif file
via "Insert, Picture, File, etc". It prompts me to
convert the file from: then I pick "tif" and then
crashes. I used to be able to insert tif files, any ideas
what might have gotten corrupted that prevents me from
inserting them now?

TIF is a rather broad church. Are you using the same application to produce
the TIF files that worked before? Are you setting the same amount of
compression or none? Try saving as uncompressed TIF.
