inserting video

I'm trying to insert a series of animated pictures into a
webpage using Frontpage. Should I use a program like
Micorsoft movie maker to animate the pictures, and if so,
what do I save the file as. Is there any easier way to
complete this. Any suggestions??

It really depends on the style of animation and how big the animation will
end up being. You could use something like movie maker to create an animated
video. This will end up a rather large file though if you save it as an avi
so you'll need to go through an extra step. You can use the Windows Media
Player tools at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx
to endcode the avi into a streaming video file. It will be a lot smaller and
faster for your users.

You may also look at Macromedia Flash, but often flash is much more
difficult to work with and a heck of a lot more expensive.

You might also peruse www.tucows.com for other good shareware/freeware
applications to assist in creating animations like this.

Hope this helps,
