Install LIVEWEB, a freeware you may download from
http://www.mvps.org/skp/liveweb.htm

With this addin you may place a HTML frame within the slide ; it can also be
applied to MS Office formats, since they can also be displayed via IE.

I need to make it very easy to insert a word document
onto a slide and therefore I have inserted it as an
object.

The slide then does not show the original footers.
Any ideas.
