Insertion Pointer (I called it a cursor in a previous post) missin

In all of the Office 2007 beta products, I do not have an "insertion
pointer". I refered to the insertion pointer as a cursor in a previous
posting. I've since learned that the cursor is the mouse location indicator
and the insertion pointer indicates the location of your next keystroke. I
don't know where my next keystroke will be in all the Office 2007 beta
products.

How do I make the insertion pointer appear? This makes using/testing the
product very difficult and frustrating.

This is happening to me as well. If I find the solution I will post a reply.
Glad I'm not the only one this is happening to....
