Install an access application

J

Jac Tremblay

Hi,
I have never installed an Access application on a user computer that doesn't
have Access.
I looked for information about the subject but could not find answers to all
my questions (many posts refer to Access 2000 or even Access 97).
I have developped an Access 2007 application (in the 2000 format) and would
like my client to try and test it. He doesn't have Access on his computer and
I do not want to force him to to buy it.
Do I need an installation program ?
Can I just copy the FE and BE on his computer along with some DLL?
What are my options?
Thanks for your help.

No. Fortunately the A2007 runtime is free though.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the informaion. For the whole community, this is great.
Now, I will have to try it in real life and see if it really works.
Thanks again.
