Install/Config Problem

I have Sharepoint Services running on an SBS2003 server. Sharepoint is fine,
created a new site on its own IP which works ok, added Project Template from
Project Server CD & created new site for that
(http://serverip/sites/projects) which seems ok. Installed Project Server
which all seemed to complete ok but now:

if I go to the Project Server Admin link from Programs menu it tries to
launch http://servename/projectserver - wich is of course not valid

if I go to http://sharepointsiteIPaddress/projectserver - it prompts me for
username/password ok than comes back with 404 error saying not found?

Appreciate any advice, this is driving me nuts and I can't see why it should
be so difficult to install.
