MS Office Install will not permit me to proceed from the install command. It
says it needs space on both my C: partition and my D: partition. I elected to
install to my D: partition because there is enough space (>9 GB). My thinking
was that the C: partition would only be used for Windows and the virus
checker/security (Symantec). Problem is, MS Office apparently needs >350MB on
the C: partition anyway! I suspect this is for temporary or configuration
files, rather than permanent use, but the install routine will not permit me
to proceed.
Any suggestions? I have thougth about trying to install piecemeal, but
realized there may be better ideas available here. In addition, that is based
on the assumption that I am right about the need for C: space not being
permanent. If it is permanent, I need to find some way to avoid reconfiguring
the entire system by increasing the size of the C: partition...
Thanks in advance for any help.
