Install failure cab file corrupt on CD/DVD

Daniel

I have Windows XP home and I want to install Office 2007, during install I
get an error message that a file required is not accessible or is corrupt,
Retry or Abort.
The file is ProrWW.cab
The message is
"error 1335. the cabinet file 'ProrWW.cab" required for this installation is
corrupt and cannot be used"
has anyone found a fix for this?

I had the same problem on my Vista PC and
it installed after I cleaned the drive and CD but
this time nothing is working.

thanks

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Are you able to copy the contents of the cd to a local folder successfully?
Could you install from that local folder after copying the cd contents to it?
