install frontpage 200 on windows XP machine

I am being required to install Front page 2000 on a
Windows XP operating system. When I start the install I
receive a message stating Windows File Protection error
and that Windows XP Professional needs to have service pk1
cd install.

We are running windows XP with service pack 1 installed.

is there something in the regedit I need to change or what?
any help would be great.
