Can I install Microsoft Project 2007 on the same PC (system) having Microsoft
Project 2003 as well?

Hi ra_jan ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I have done so on my PC. Best if you can install on another partition as
there can only be one Global.mpt file. Otherwise create a new folder and
install 2007 last. You may get some problems with customization details in
the Global.mpt, but it should work OK.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

You can install them on the same computer, in the same partition. It's best
to install 2003 first and then, when installing 2007, to do it in a
different folder from 2003, ("Microsoft Office 2007" as opposed to
"Microsoft Office", say) and and to not accept MSP's offer to upgrade or
uninstall the previous version. The global.mpt files are stored separately
in the 1033 folders for each version under each user's folder.
