install Office 2003 Standard after removing trial

I had carefully read all the comments on the above and concluded that I knew
what I was doing so I could start using my new Toshiba laptop. I dutifully
removed the trail version before using it at all and was ready to install my
retail version of Offie 2003, which has only priorly been installed once on
my other machine which I still use. At that point I noticed in the
Add/Remove list something which was also on the desktop, MS OneNote. What is
this? Should it be removed also? Will leaving it alone cause trouble with
the installation of the retail Office 2003? Please advise and many thanks.

OneNote may or may not be a trial version. Look for a disk, read your
receipt or the box your computer came in - something should tell you.

Chances are your copy of Office will not have an issue with it either way.

Joann: Thank you so much for the re-assurance. I will try the installation
of the retail version. But what is OneNote, curiosity impells me to ask?
Thaks again

It's a cool program but I think it is more fully used with a tablet PC or if
you have a graphics tablet.
