Install Office 2007 over Office 2003

Can I install Office Standard 2007 Over Office 2003 without problems, or do I
need to uninstall 2003 first? Will I lose my data in the "My Documents"
file? I've heard that the two versions of Outlook aren't compatitble, but
that's OK since I don't have much in my Outlook 2003 anyway.... I'm running
XP by the way if that makes any difference. The only data I have to speak of
is that filed under My Documents (mainly MS Word stuff, pics, and music).

Didnt you allready post this?
Data is not changed / affected by an application install or uninstall
However data backups are allways reccommended

No, I joined the forum for the first time on the 23rd, and this was the first
and only question I've ever posted. Thanks for your answer on the data not
being affected, but do you know the answer to the first part of my question?
Is it OK to intall 2007 directly over 2003, or should I uninstall 2003 first?
